Leave the ski lifts behind, discover the joy of skiing at your own pace, and make your first tracks away from the trails: this day is an invitation to discover ski touring in the Écrins, the Queyras, or the Cerces.
I'll suggest an itinerary tailored to your skiing ability, your fitness level, and the current conditions. You'll learn about the equipment, how to ski with climbing skins, and your first turns. We'll also discuss winter safety and risk management.
On the ascent, the landscape unfolds with every step, between larch trees and open valleys. Take a break to enjoy the view, then it’s time to remove your skins and savor the descent!

Who is this event for?
————————————————
This day is designed for skiers who want to try ski touring but have no prior experience with this activity. You must be comfortable on red runs, able to make consecutive turns, and able to control your speed. Some experience with off-piste skiing is a plus. Physically, you’ll need to be able to walk for 3 to 4 hours in the mountains at a leisurely pace. The route and elevation gain will be tailored to the group to prioritize enjoyment and exploration.
