Coste Glas Gully

Climbing the Coste Glas gully with Guillaume: good ice despite the warm autumn weather, a summit finish and the pleasure of a proper mountain day.

Even in this autumn heatwave, there’s still some good ice to get our tools into!

Guillaume is thoroughly motivated for a good climb. I know him a little by now and, although he doesn’t yet have any real waterfall ice experience, I’m confident in his abilities.

We decide on the Coste Glas gully, continuing all the way to the summit. A proper mountain outing!

I’ll hand over to the Dahu libéré himself, who tells the tale very well!
