We head to the Seyte ridges for a ski tour with friends, with plenty of chat on the way up and light powder on the way down. Photos can wait till later.

Is it the lack of oxygen and the shortage of vitamin supplements that are doing such strange things to our imagination? When the powder’s light enough to get right into our synapses, our brains are under its control! Nothing for it but to go and frolic in the white stuff…
A cheerful little group comes together on the spur of the moment for a ski tour around the Seyte ridges. A dozen ski tips and no grand ambitions. We get to chew the fat on the way up, lung capacity permitting…
A little way over, some people are discovering the joys of breaking trail on the way up and making tracks on the way down. We’re quite happy to stick to making tracks downhill. Our religion forbids stopping on a descent, which may go some way towards explaining the shortage of photos!
With conditions as they are, it’s well worth sticking to slopes under 30°. There’s still plenty of room to have fun!
