Three days of ski touring in the Queyras with Pierre and Noémie, chasing the best snow and finishing in style with 40cm of powder on Pic de Ségure!

I’m guiding Pierre and Noémie for three days of ski touring in the Queyras, based in Molines. We had originally planned a three-day hut-to-hut tour, but with the changing conditions, staying in one place quickly becomes the obvious choice... Being down in the valley means we can adapt each day and go wherever the powder is!
Day one: a superb ski tour to thePointe de la Marcelette, with beautifully packed powder that is an absolute dream to ski!
Day two: a small retour d’est brings snow all day long! The perfect opportunity to explore all the off-piste terrain around Saint-Véran, finishing in style with the north couloir of Châteaurenard.
Final day: we head further east to see whether the retour d’est has been more generous in theHaut-Guil. Bingo! 40cm of powder is waiting for us on thePic de Ségure!
Like velvet!
