Three days getting a taste of the high mountains with Fred, Rémy, Aurélien and my old uni mate Gaétan… Three cracking days, impeccable weather and a team that spends a lot of time laughing!
J1 — Ice skills on Glacier Blanc
We start with an ice skills session and a bit of exploring on Glacier Blanc.
J2 — Traversing Pic d’Arsine
We traverse Pic d’Arsine past some impressive cornices, then treat ourselves to a lazy afternoon at the Refuge des Écrins.
J3 — Climbing the Dôme des Écrins
We finish with an ascent of the Dôme des Écrins, where conditions have just come right for climbing without skis!
